Student Council Run Events
Student Council is in charge of Homecoming, Legacy Week, and the Talent Show at our school. We plan and lead these events with the 5 Core Values in mind and aim to include the student body through service and participation.
Homecoming
Student Council plans and organizes our homecoming dance each year. From creating the ballots to coming up with the spirit days to set up & clean up, STUCO does it all!

Legacy Week
Strength, Loyalty, Integrity, Perserverance, and Stewardship: these are Lone Star's 5 Core Values. During Legacy Week, Student Council works to ensure that each of these values are represented throughout the week and given a day of recognition. Each day has a theme, motto or a challenge that represents one of the five values. Legacy Week is here to help boost school spirit and to spread compassion and kindness throughout the school.
Talent Show
We are also in charge of LSHS' annual talent show! We put together the entire show starting from the audition process to MC skits and the voting process.
Fun Friday
StuCo is also in charge of Fun Fridays. Fun Fridays are activities during R.O.I.T time that everyone can be apart of.
